It is designed to stimulate customers’ intention to acquire managed XDR services based on Microsoft security technologies, such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft 365 Defender, and Microsoft Defender for Cloud. The process is conducted in the client’s production environment using real security threats. Alternatively, it can be performed in a test environment, where real attacks can be simulated or coordinated with a red team to show how managed XDR solutions address these risks. The goal is to demonstrate the value of these solutions so that customers consider their acquisition.
Service Description: Microsoft Sentinel Migrate and Modernize provides specialized guidance and support to execute migration projects to Sentinel. This includes migration from existing security systems or competitors, as well as the modernization of already deployed Sentinel environments. The primary goal is to maximize the Azure Consumption Rate (ACR) related to Sentinel, thereby enhancing organizational security posture and operational efficiency.
For the MXDR Engagement to be considered complete, a partner is required to deliver the following activities:
- Identify customer’s key security objectives & priorities.
- Conduct discovery of threats and vulnerabilities in customer’s production environment.
- Use customer’s existing licenses.
- Provide recommendations and next steps.
