Real challenges. Lasting impact.
How organizations in banking, insurance, financial services, technology and engineering protect their data, secure identities, govern AI agents and consolidate platforms with Synergy Advisors experts.
“One governance model for every AI agent, on any platform.”
A global engineering, construction and energy company based in Spain had AI agents spread across several platforms, with no central inventory and no common rules. Our experts ran an Agent 365 pilot that brought every agent under one model for visibility, governance and control.

Governing every AI agent, on any platform
One governance model for the entire AI agent ecosystem
- Region
- Spain, with global operations
- Segment
- Enterprise
- Technologies
- Microsoft Agent 365, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel (pilot)
The challenge
The company was driving a digital transformation strategy built on automation, advanced analytics and AI. But its AI agents ran in isolation across several platforms. There was no central inventory and no common model to assign owners, classify risk, control access to information or set governance criteria, which raised security, compliance and traceability risks.
What our experts did
Our experts ran an Agent 365 pilot to bring visibility, governance and control to the whole AI agent ecosystem: Microsoft agents, agents on third-party platforms such as Google, and agents built on the company’s own AI platform.
- Procedures to register, monitor, validate and manage every agent, covering ownership, data use, acceptance criteria, testing, information classification and security controls.
- A dedicated lab that replicated the customer’s environment to validate complex integration and observability scenarios before rollout.
The impact
- One governance model for every AI agent, whatever platform it runs on
- Greater visibility into the agent ecosystem and clearer ownership
- Stronger compliance and information protection
- A repeatable framework to scale to new agents, platforms and use cases
Microsoft 365 Copilot · Governance
Driving secure, governed AI adoption
From AI experimentation to governed adoption
The challenge
The bank wanted to adopt Microsoft 365 Copilot to boost productivity while protecting sensitive financial information, with security, governance, compliance and oversharing covered from day one.
What our experts did
Our experts built an adoption strategy on three dimensions: value, information protection and change management. Business scenarios were analyzed together with the security and governance controls each one needed.
The impact
- AI adoption aligned with security and compliance requirements
- A controlled introduction of AI-assisted work
- A clear path from experimentation to governed enterprise adoption
Global · Collaboration platform
Optimizing collaboration through platform consolidation
One collaboration platform, at global scale
The challenge
A global organization decided to move from Zoom to Microsoft Teams. It had to preserve future meetings, historical recordings, shared files, chats and other collaboration data, at scale and with minimal disruption for users.
What our experts did
Our experts ran discovery, usage analysis and planning, and used automation to migrate meetings, historical content and data. Automation replaced what would otherwise have been a heavy manual effort.
The impact
- A controlled consolidation on Microsoft Teams
- Less dependence on additional collaboration platforms
- Lower license, support and administration costs
- An integrated platform ready for future initiatives
Critical infrastructure · Privileged access
Modernizing privileged access and protecting critical infrastructure
Privileged access secured, without slowing operations
The challenge
The organization needed to protect access to domain controllers and other critical resources and reduce the exposure created by remote and privileged access, without making day-to-day work too complex for its administration teams.
What our experts did
Our experts implemented multifactor authentication, Conditional Access and private access to critical resources. Identity is now validated more strongly before administrative operations, and remote access is restricted to authorized resources and scenarios.
The impact
- Stronger protection of privileged accounts
- A smaller attack surface on critical infrastructure
- Security policies enforced with extra validation before sensitive access
- A model that stays workable for operations teams
Regional · Multiple subsidiaries
Endpoint information protection at regional scale
One protection model across the region
The challenge
Disk encryption had already been completed on the group’s headquarters workstations. The next step was to extend it to regional subsidiaries at very different maturity levels: some relied on third-party tools with extra license and operating costs, others had no formal encryption, and technology separations created recovery-key and device-access issues.
What our experts did
Our experts designed a regional information-protection strategy on Microsoft technology, with consistent device encryption, security-control administration and recovery processes. Device management moved to a modern, centralized and scalable model with less reliance on external tools.
The impact
- A more homogeneous regional protection model
- Stronger device security and lower risk of loss or exposure
- Simpler administration and lower operating and license costs
- A scalable base for new entities and devices
Data protection · Tool consolidation
Reducing costs and strengthening corporate data protection
Fewer tools, stronger data protection
The challenge
Multiple specialized tools meant extra license, administration and operating costs. The goal was to modernize data protection without losing data loss prevention (DLP) or threat-monitoring capabilities.
What our experts did
Our experts assessed the existing capabilities, identified consolidation opportunities and planned the transition from legacy tools to native Microsoft capabilities for information protection, monitoring and compliance.
The impact
- Legacy technology retired
- Optimized licensing and operations
- Stronger data protection and threat monitoring
- A more scalable platform with less fragmentation
Multi-country · Security operations
Automating the handling of sensitive-data e-mail alerts
Faster, complete records for every sensitive e-mail
The challenge
Outgoing e-mails with sensitive and critical information trigger alerts that security analysts must review to block or release. Each alert was logged by hand in a form, which took time and left room for incomplete, incorrect or lost records.
What our experts did
Our experts built a Power Automate workflow connected to the Exchange mailbox that receives block and release alerts. It extracts the key details of each alert and records them automatically in Excel, creating a real-time report. It was deployed across the whole financial group in two months.
The impact
- Handling time for the same 71 e-mails cut from 2 hours to 1 hour 11 minutes
- No more incomplete or incorrect manual records
- Real-time reporting by action, sender, sensitive information type and analyst
- Monthly and on-demand reports for the business
Microsoft Purview · Teams meetings
Protecting confidential information in meetings with third parties
Confidential content stays protected, even with guests
The challenge
In meetings with third parties, confidential documents with sensitive information were sometimes presented to people who should not have access to them. The group needed to stop that information from being shared or accessed.
What our experts did
Our experts identified the Microsoft capability that covered the need and tested it in demo environments to measure the user experience and impact before going to production. They then extended sensitivity labels to meetings and calendars, completing a protection model that already covered e-mail, documents, groups and sites. Delivered in three weeks.
The impact
- Confidential information protected in Teams meetings with third parties
- Screen capture blocked in protected meeting sessions
- Lower risk of loss, leakage or plagiarism of critical information
- A smooth experience for internal users and guests
